I think the gap to Slackware 14.1 is slowly closing. KDE 4.10.5 is the final increment in the series and a point well-made in Eric's blog is that Patrick Volkerding has tended to ship the final increment of the series with any new release. Give it a bit of stability testing and we'll probably see a beta or RC soon. Running Current is more up to date than even the new Fedora and more predictable than running Arch.
Slackware in the main, but also other bits and bobs on Linux, BSD, and all sorts of things of interest.

KDE 4.10.5 and Linux 3.9.9 Now in Slackware-Current
