Today Slackware upgraded the kernel in the Current branch and with that for the upcoming and highly anticipated Slackware 14.2 release to linux 4.4.9 with all the corresponding modules. The init scripts were also updated to
sysvinit-scripts-2.0-noarch-31. As usual, this can be traced in the changelog.
