However, I'll definitely make time for Fallout 4 when it comes out in November. This years festive season should be good for making a start. Best of all, from trailer footage game play seems pretty much unchanged, with all the usual items from Nuka Cola to Bobbleheads making a return and now you can give the dog commands. And why change a winning formula? Now, without much further ado, here's the trailer and a detailed deconstruction posted by Camelworks which I think will be interesting for any hardcore fan of the series.
Now we'll only need to find out how/if it runs on Linux, but I'm sure these days it will either be offered through Steam application and Steam OS -although this article says different - or the community will figure out how to run it with Wine on PlayOnLinux.
